Injury Spates and What Causes Them

We've read in the past about Liverpool FC going through a spate of injuries for which Jurgen Klopp was blamed due to his style of play and his demands for high intensity football, but is this really the case? Being a coach who demands high intensity "fighting" from my own athletes I can assure there's nothing about high intensity performing which causes injuries, if the training camp is running correctly. 6 players out with hamstring problems is no coincidence however, and there is indeed a problem, but not the one Allardyce is waving at. It has nothing to do with the game and everything to do with the world around it. We're seeing the same problems coming in over and over again in the new younger students joining Five Rings Training & Research Institute' s training community, so instead of waiting for you to come to us, here's some pointers below for Parents, PE Teachers and others involved with sports and physical education of children: In particular we are seeing the problem with teenage boys, but this applies to all children and ideally their training should start as young as possible. GB Youth Squad _ Martial Arts

The Five Rings Training GB Youth Squad is a programme specifically created for 11-18 yr olds providing structured and disciplined martial arts training as well as realistic self defence programmes, self confidence and personal development. A curriculum of gradings, seminars, events, competitions and possibilities of representing the national and international squad is aligned alongside a Routes-To-Work scheme offering work experience, apprenticeships, instructorships and recruitment into the Five Rings Training business network. The scheme marries the FRT University Training which offers a similar programme within London's top universities for 18 to 25 year olds.
